Westgate Tenants Association

Picture

The Westgate Tenants Association was formed in 1993 to promote a strong and safe community of neighbors at Westgate Apartments, and to keep Westgate as affordable housing for its current residents and for future generations. Westgate is home to nearly 100 families in West Brattleboro. This community provides a significant portion of the housing in Brattleboro that is affordable to low and moderate income families.

The Mission Statement of the Westgate Tenants' Association is:
1. Keep Westgate as affordable, decent and safe housing for ourselves and for future generations of Brattleboro residents.
2. Provide ways for us to have more resident control over our housing.
3. Build a strong and safe community of neighbors.
4. Improve Westgate's image within the community.
