Westgate Camp Scholarship Fund
Scholarships are available to every household with children at Westgate. The scholarships are up to $75 per household (with children) per year. Scholarships can be used for camps, classes, or membership fees. All you need to do is submit a request in writing to Greg in the office. Call (257-2430) ahead of time to arrange a time to stop by. The request must contain your name, your apartment number, your phone number, what the scholarship is to be used for, amount needed (up to $75), and contact information for the organization the check should be made out to.
One-Time Overnight Camp Scholarship Opportunity:
We recently received a donation from a local benefactor to help send one kid to one week of overnight camp. The scholarship is for $250. Many overnight camps are more expensive than that, but may also have scholarship opportunities of their own. The $75 Westgate Camp Scholarship may also be used (if it has not been already used for 2008) if necessary. We are still working out the selection criteria, so please do not contact the office about this scholarship until you see flyers with details.
