A Note from Greg:
Greetings Westgatonians!
Ahhh...how sweet things are when the sun is shining and the birds are chirping... This winter was bruuuutaaalll for me, so I am loving every minute of the spring. Even the rain we just got wasn't bad. We actually needed it.
We are busy making plans for the summer. This includes making preparations for the Summer Enrichment Program (SEP), making arrangements for the Sr. Farm Share Program, tossing ideas around for Community Gardens, and looking ahead to the Westgate Annual Meeting. I have put together more details for all of the above in separate sections in this newsletter.
As we move forward with our activities and programs for the year, I would like to encourage and ask you all to be thinking of how you can get involved and help out. Westgate Housing, Inc., and the Westgate Tenant's Association (of which you are all members) exist to make this community a better place to live by responding to your needs and interests. However, without yor input of ideas and contributions of time and energy, Westgate will not continue to evolve! So... GET INVOLVED!!!
Be Well,
Greg
